Baseball, Huh? It held my attention for the entire runtime; the cast did an excellent job all round of convincing me that New York is filled with arseholes of varying degrees. Some people killed of earlier than I expected (one of them was actually gut renching) but I do like when storytellers aren't afraid to limit the number of plot armor. Austin Butler did an excellent job, but the stand-out for me is Matt Smith but that's not saying much because as far as i'm concered, he can do no wrong!

A Rom-com with time travel, sign me up! But it's also not lost on me how problematic that sounds. But damn this movie was beautifully done and I'm grateful to the random Hinge match who recommended it!

Keeps the charm of the first one, I very much had fun throughout and I find myself beliving the chain of events, the one thing I would say is, the wife turning out to be a to tier shooter was a "hold on a minute" moment, but, I'll let them have this one. It's always fun when a movie is engrossing enough you find yourself almost screaming "don't do it" to someone who's about to do something very stupid! It felt like the fight scenes in this is better than the first, the samurai fight scene was a pleasant surprise.

Homework before watching the second one and damn it's worth the rental price (probably should have just bought it). Obviously inspired by John Wick, but different enough for it to stand on it's own. Took me way too long to realise crossing his finger is him HOPING the Russian chases him and i'm here for it. Christopher Lloyd stole the show for me, it was so unexpected the way he dealth with the two guys who came for him. Can't wait to see the second one!!!

It stated off well enough and grabbed by attention for pretty much the entirety of the runtime. But the second half, after the scene that caused pretty much everyone in the cinema to burst out laughing because it was so unexpected and I think exactly what everyone was thinking, then it devolved into a series of unfortunate events, which to be fair was entertaining.
